To enable additional functionality like sharing your music information with the screen saver, enable Music Sync in Preferences > Music Sync > Share Music Information. Glass requires Backgrounds to be open to work.

Screen Savers may not work well macOS 14 Sonoma or later. macOS 14 has a bug where screen savers may not quit, causing issues that avoid loading the screen saver after the first time or may consume more resources until restarting the computer.
